RB Bryce Williams out for season, but Darius Taylor set to return for Gophers vs. Iowa Linebacker Cody Lindenberg was questionable to return against the Hawkeyes.
Done for season Williams has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with an undisclosed injury.
Impact It's unclear when Williams suffered the injury, but this will certainly be a blow to the depth of the Gophers backfield. Williams has carried the ball 36 times for 123 yards and a score to go along with four receptions and 31 yards.

Steps into No. 1 role Williams recorded 11 rushes for 35 yards and a touchdown, and he also caught five of his seven targets for 33 yards during Saturday's 20-10 loss to Purdue.
Impact Williams took over the Golden Gophers' primary rushing responsibilities with bell-cow back Mohamed Ibrahim sidelined to due a surprise ankle injury Week 5. As a result, fellow graduate senior totaled his heaviest usage dating back to Week 8 of last season, including a career-high receiving performance in receptions, targets and yards. Williams also saw more carries than usual No. 2 back Trey Potts (nine rushes, 13 yards), though he should revert back to a reserve role if Ibrahim makes his expected return this coming Saturday against Illinois.

Impact Bucky Irving entered the portal on April 8 and fellow returning running backs Mohamed Ibrahim and Trey Potts are still working their way back from injury. Williams and freshman Zach Evans will have the chance to see the bulk of the snaps for the rest of spring, including the spring game on April 30.
