CJ Ogbonna - Named Week 1 starter Ogbonna will start the season opener versus Lafayette, Jonah Bronstein of the Associated Press reports.
Impact Ogbonna spent last season primarily as a backup in his first season with Buffalo, but he has earned the starting job heading into Week 1 of the 2024 campaign. While he completed just eight of 21 passes for 87 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions last season, Ogbonna proved his worth as a runner. He carried the ball 51 times for 214 yards and three touchdowns, a skillset that the Bulls will surely take advantage of.
