BYU adds quarterback in Boise State transfer Cade Fennegan Cade Fennegan, who played his first collegiate season at Boise State last year, will join the BYU program this fall.
Going to BYU Fennegan announced via Twitter on Thursday that he has decided to transfer to BYU.
Impact Fennegan will get his fresh start with BYU after spending two years with Boise State. He redshirted as a true freshman and played sparingly last season. Fennegan will have three more years of eligibility to use.

Lands in transfer portal Fennegan is in the transfer portal, Rivals.com reports.
Impact Fennegan completed 15-of-28 passes for 182 yards and a pair of touchdowns last season for Boise State. Fennegan will have three more years of eligibility left and will hope to find more consistent playing time.
