Adds TD in back-to-back games Douglas logged three receptions (on six targets) for 50 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 52-15 win against West Virginia.

Impact Douglas added touchdowns in back-to-back games to end the regular season and was a nice complement to Josh Kelly during the year. Douglas had a breakout year with 55 catches for 765 yards and six touchdowns on 90 targets. He'll be a popular target in the team's bowl game and a likely candidate to lead the team in catches next year.

DECEMBER 1 • ROTOWIRE

Logs third 100-yard game Douglas had five receptions (on 11 targets) for 105 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 56-48 victory versus Oklahoma State.

Impact Douglas logged his third 100-yard receiving game of the season. He also notched his fifth touchdown and received double-digit targets for the fourth time this year. The junior receiver is having a career year at Texas Tech with 52 catches for 715 yards and five touchdowns on 84 targets. The Red Raiders will finish the regular season at home against West Virginia.

NOVEMBER 24 • ROTOWIRE

Limited to 16 yards in loss Douglas hauled in 3 of 6 targets for 16 yards during Saturday's 41-27 defeat against Colorado.

Impact Douglas was limited to just 16 yards which is his second lowest yardage total of the season. It's worth noting that he's received an uptick in opportunities of late as he's recorded at least six targets in each of the last five games. Josh Kelly remains the top receiver for fantasy purposes, but Douglas is close behind from an opportunity standpoint. Texas Tech is on a bye before playing at Oklahoma State.

Five catches versus Iowa State Douglas gathered in all five targets for 35 yards during Saturday's 23-22 win versus Iowa State.

Impact Douglas recorded at least five catches in his fourth consecutive start. However, it was teammate Josh Kelly who emerged with a big game with eight catches (on 18 targets) for 127 yards and two touchdowns. While Douglas was gaining some traction as the top target, it appears that Kelly is still that guy in this offense. Douglas still has plenty of value for fantasy rosters as Texas Tech passes the ball more than the average team. Texas Tech will play Colorado next week.

Emerging as top receiver Douglas caught 9 of 13 targets for 140 yards during Saturday's 35-34 loss to TCU.

Impact Douglas received double-digit targets in his third straight game. Over that span, he has a combined 23 catches for 355 yards and three touchdowns. It's taken a little time for Douglas to get used to his new role at Texas Tech, but it appears the Florida transfer is emerging as a top threat in this offense. It's worth noting that the Red Raiders' starting QB exited the game against TCU, but it's expected that Texas Tech will remain high-flying and will need to throw the ball at Iowa State next week.

Three scores against Baylor Douglas accrued nine receptions (on 10 targets) for 99 yards and three touchdowns during Saturday's 59-35 defeat to Baylor.

Impact Douglas has recorded 10 targets in each of his last two games and he has taken full advantage of that uptick in opportunities. He has a combined 14 catches for 215 yards and three touchdowns. While Josh Kelly appears to still be the number one option in the passing game, Douglas is starting to make a name for himself. Look for Douglas to stay involved when Texas Tech plays at TCU next week.

100-yard receiving game Douglas notched five catches (on nine targets) for 116 yards during Saturday's 28-22 win over Arizona.

Impact Douglas had his best performance of the season with a career-high 116 receiving yards. The Florida transfer is starting to get a hang of the Red Raiders' offense and could be a bigger part of the gameplan down the road. Texas Tech is on a bye before playing Baylor in Week 8.

Impact Douglas saw a season-high nine targets in the impressive win over Arizona State. Most of Texas Tech's production goes through WR Josh Kelly and RB Tahj Brooks, however, Douglas is proving he can have a significant role as a tertiary option. Texas Tech will play Cincinnati next week.

Impact Douglas has at least six targets in each of his first two games with the Red Raiders. The Florida transfer had a total of 35 targets in 11 games with the Gators, so it looks like he could be a bigger part of the offense at Texas Tech. The Red Raiders have an expected shootout with North Texas coming up next and Douglas should be on fantasy radars as a tertiary option for the team.

McGuire's comments indicate that the junior receiver will likely be in contention for one of the starting spots for the Red Raiders heading into 2024. Douglas caught 11 passes for 133 yards and a score in just five games for the Gators in 2023 before suffering a lower leg injury.
