Lands with Jacksonville State Cook will make the move to Jacksonville State ahead of the 2025-26 season.

Impact Cook will join the Gamecocks this offseason after spending two seasons with TCU. The 5-foot-11 sophomore, who tallied 119 carries for 460 yards and nine touchdowns with the Horned Frogs last season will look to compete for a lead role with Jacksonville State next fall.

Impact Cook was a featured back for the Horned Frogs in his sophomore year. He ran for 460 yards and nine touchdowns on 119 carries, while reeling in 18 receptions for 75 yards. The tailback will have two seasons of eligibility remaining at his next program.

Impact Cook was one of four Horned Frogs to record a rushing score in the blowout of the Wildcats. Teammates Savion Williams and Trent Battle had two apiece. Cook has been a touchdown magnet during the 2024 season with nine scores, six of those coming in the first five games for TCU. TCU has transitioned to a committee approach at RB which has resulted in less opportunities for the starting RB. TCU will finish the regular season at Cincinnati.

Two scores against Oklahoma State Cook notched seven rushes for 47 yards and two touchdowns and hauled in his only target for nine yards during Saturday's 38-13 win against Oklahoma State.

Impact Cook returned to paydirt for the first time since Week 5 when he rumbled for a score at Kansas. In the previous two games, he combined for just four carries, so it does appear that he's back in the mix for the Horned Frogs in the backfield. Cook has eight touchdowns during the 2024 season. TCU will be on a bye before playing Arizona in Week 13.

Logs single carry against TTU Cook tallied one carry for 19 yards during Saturday's 35-34 win over Texas Tech.

Impact Cook saw a single carry for the first time this season. There's some competition between Cook, Trent Battle, and Jeremy Payne for primary usage at the running back position. It's further complicated by receiver Savion Williams who has seen significant snaps in the wildcat formation over the last two weeks. Expect a committee approach with a healthy dose of Williams when the team plays Baylor next week.

Stifled by Utah defense Cook recorded nine rushes for 13 yards and four catches (on five targets) for 22 yards during Saturday's 13-7 win versus Utah.

Impact Cook couldn't find any running room against the Utes. His fantasy performance could have been better if not for a QB rushing touchdown by Josh Hoover and multiple direct snaps to WR Savion Williams. Cook should have more running lanes against Texas Tech next week.

Logs 77 yards against Houston Cook logged 14 rushes for 77 yards and caught 0 of 2 targets for zero yards during Friday's 30-19 loss to Houston.

Impact Cook is averaging 14.5 rushing attempts per game yet has not surpassed the century mark in any contest this season. He does have six touchdowns, but it was teammate Jeremy Payne who vultured the rushing score against Houston. TCU is off next week before they play at Utah.

Impact Cook received the bulk of the carries on the night despite having some hamstring issues going into the game. The sophomore back gained steam by the end of the game and even scored the go-ahead touchdown as TCU edged out Stanford on the road. No other TCU running backs had more than two carries, so it appears that Cook can be trusted to handle a large workload. TCU will play LIU next week.
