Possible redshirt candidate Williams may pursue a medical redshirt and sit out the remainder of the 2024-25 season, Keegan Nickoson of BearcatJournal.com reports.

Impact Williams has been limited by an undisclosed injury since joining the Bearcats, capping him at just a handful of snaps per contest this season. The 5-foot-8 junior, who has totaled 67 yards on 15 carries across four games this season, may pursue a medical redshirt after missing the Bearcats' last two games due to injury.

Likely to be available Williams (undisclosed) is dressed and expected to be available for Saturday's game at UCF, Keegan Nickoson of BearcatJournal.com reports.

Impact The Bearcats will have a lot of depth in the backfield it seems, as Corey Kiner (undisclosed) and Evan Pryor (hamstring) will also be available. That limits Williams' fantasy upside, though, as he'll compete for backup carries with Pryor behind Kiner.

Impact The Bearcats will be missing several offensive weapons for this game, and even though Williams plays a minimal role out of the backfield, his presence will thin the team's depth in the backfield. He'll aim to return to face UCF on Oct. 12.
