After completely dominating his first five AAC games, Morris has come back down to earth in his last two. He faces two favorable matchups to end the season so he has a good chance to get back on track as the Eagles fight for bowl eligibility.

Impact Morris faced a very difficult matchup Saturday and was not able to work his way to a productive outing. He threw for just 214 yards, his second fewest this season, and failed to throw a touchdown pass after throwing multiple in all eight of his starts heading into the game. Next up he faces UTSA on Friday with a good chance to rediscover his form.

He threw for over 400 yards for the third time this season and tossed three touchdowns for the fifth time in seven games. He ranks second in the country in both passing yards and passing touchdowns, only behind Heisman contender Cam Ward. He also showed off his legs Saturday as he scored a 49-yard rushing touchdown and finished the game with a season-high 71 rushing yards. He faces a couple of difficult matchups in his next two games, but he has been too productive to look elsewhere.

Impact Morris tossed four touchdowns Saturday, including two to DT Sheffield in the final three minutes to turn a 10-point loss into a four-point win. He now has three games this season with four or more touchdown passes and is currently tied with Cam Ward for the most touchdown passes in the country with 20. He has a tough next three games versus the best team's in the conference, but he should pass the ball enough to remain productive.

After a rough outing in Week 3, Morris has bounced back with back-to-back elite performances. He has a bye week in Week 6 and then returns to a favorable matchup at FAU in Week 7.

With only conference games for the rest of the season, he should be able to put up nice numbers especially against the struggling teams.
