ImpactNorton received a season-high 16 carries Saturday, more than double the number Hahsaun Wilson saw. Norton rushed for over 50 yards in his fourth consecutive game, giving him a decent floor. However, the 49ers will be significant underdogs in each of the next two games which hurts his chances to have a big performance.

Duane Thomas Jr. - Catches TD SaturdayThomas hauled in all two targets for 31 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 51-17 loss versus Navy.

ImpactThomas scored his first touchdown of the season Saturday, a 13-yard reception in the second quarter. He has slowly been integrated into the offense and has improved in each of the last three weeks, however he is not currently seeing enough work to be a viable option.

Max Brown - Struggles in returnBrown was 7-for-18 passing for 152 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions during Saturday's 51-17 defeat versus Navy. He also had 18 rushes for 67 yards.

ImpactBrown made his first start since Week 2 Saturday after missing the last four games with a thumb injury. He struggled in his return as he failed to complete 40 percent of his passes and threw three interceptions, two of which were returned for touchdowns. He did toss two touchdowns and run for 67 yards, but his inefficiency hurt his performance and his team's. He faces a more favorable matchup Saturday at Memphis.

Eli Heidenreich - Quiet in blowout winHeidenreich totaled two rushes for seven yards and hauled in 3 of 6 targets for 36 yards during Saturday's 51-17 victory versus Charlotte.

ImpactJust one game after recording over 200 yards from scrimmage, Heidenreich came back down to earth Saturday. He had a season-low five touches and recorded a season-low 43 yards from scrimmage in the blowout win. Given how productive he has been to this point, this was more than likely a fluke performance.
