Impact Rodriguez was arrested in May and eventually plead guilty to a DUI charge, and his future with the team is currently unknown. Coach Mark Stoops told reporters ad SEC Media Days that Rodriguez has been working out with the team, but did not go into further detail about the situation. The senior running back was recently awarded to the preseason First Team All-SEC list and was set to be a major contributor to the Kentucky offense once again. He currently has 2,740 career rushing yards and could surpass Benny Snell to become the Wildcat's all-time leading rusher with 1,134 yards this season.

Impact Rodriguez accepted a guilty plea in his pre-trial conference regarding his DUI arrest in May, and will now have to face the consequences.
