Catches 50-yard touchdown Week 2 Williams gathered in two of five targets for 53 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 27-13 victory against South Dakota. Impact Williams caught the first touchdown of his career when he got behind the Coyotes defense on an RPO before hauling in an easy 50-yard touchdown in the second quarter. His first career touchdown nearly came on the Badgers' second drive of the game when he got open deep on a flea flicker, but quarterback Tyler Van Dyke's pass fell short for an incompletion downfield. Williams came into Wisconsin with what were likely outsized expectations as a transfer from USC who was a four-star recruit coming out of high school. The junior wideout is listed as a co-starter with fellow outside receiver Bryson Green. Though, the Badgers' passing game has struggled with downfield passing attempts altogether so far this season, so there's likely very little upside for Williams or Green at this time. Things will only get significantly tougher for the Badgers' schedule moving forward, starting with this coming Saturday's home game against No. 4-ranked Alabama.
