Headed to Stanford Williams has announced his intentions to join Stanford this offseason.
Impact Williams will make the switch to Stanford after spending the last two seasons with Wisconsin. The 6-foot-1 junior appeared in 25 games during his time with the Badgers, totaling 31 receptions for 396 yards and two touchdowns. Impact Williams was the highest-rated wideout Wisconsin had ever signed at the time of his transfer to the Badgers following a lackluster freshman year at USC, but the receiver never put it together in Madison. He totalled 396 yards on two touchdowns on 31 catches in two seasons with Wisconsin. He has one year of eligibility remaining, and joins Will Pauling as another Badgers' pass-catcher to enter the portal Tuesday.

Catches late TD in blowout loss Williams logged two receptions (on five targets) for 32 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 42-10 defeat versus Iowa.
Impact Williams scored the Badgers' lone touchdown when he extended out to catch a 14-yard touchdown pass early in the fourth quarter. This was his first touchdown since the Week 2 win against FCS opponent South Dakota. The junior wideout has gotten slightly more involved while senior wideout Bryson Green (knee) has been sidelined over the last four weeks. However, Williams has still logged just seven catches on 17 targets over this span. The Badgers will have an idle week before taking on the No. 1-ranked team in the country, Oregon, at Camp Randall on Saturday, Nov. 16.

Catches 50-yard touchdown Week 2 Williams gathered in two of five targets for 53 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 27-13 victory against South Dakota.
Impact Williams caught the first touchdown of his career when he got behind the Coyotes defense on an RPO before hauling in an easy 50-yard touchdown in the second quarter. His first career touchdown nearly came on the Badgers' second drive of the game when he got open deep on a flea flicker, but quarterback Tyler Van Dyke's pass fell short for an incompletion downfield. Williams came into Wisconsin with what were likely outsized expectations as a transfer from USC who was a four-star recruit coming out of high school. The junior wideout is listed as a co-starter with fellow outside receiver Bryson Green. Though, the Badgers' passing game has struggled with downfield passing attempts altogether so far this season, so there's likely very little upside for Williams or Green at this time. Things will only get significantly tougher for the Badgers' schedule moving forward, starting with this coming Saturday's home game against No. 4-ranked Alabama.
