Christopher Vizzina - Named QB1 Head coach Dabo Swinney announced that Vizzina is the No. 1 QB, per Jon Blau of The Charleston Post and Courier.

Impact Vizzina has seemingly won Clemson's starting quarterback job after having looked more impressive than Tait Reynolds throughout spring practice. Vizzina spent the past two seasons backing up Cade Klubnik and completed 64 of his 105 pass attempts for 596 yards, four touchdowns and one interception across 11 appearances.

He'll hopefully be able to make a full recovery before fall camp at least, but there has been no other information regarding his timeline.

Impact Smith recently posted a picture of himself using a scooter for his right leg, so it appears that is what will cause him to undergo surgery Tuesday. It is a new setback for the wide receiver, who temporarily dealt with an eligibility problem going into Clemson's spring practice. Considering the magnitude of Smith's leg problem and the long time before his 2026 season is set to begin, it would not be surprising if he is out until the summer, though that has not been confirmed.

Tristan Smith - Can participate in spring practice Head coach Dabo Swinney indicated Wednesday that Smith can participate during 2026 spring practice, Chapel Fowler of The Columbia State reports.

Impact Smith will be given the opportunity to practice with the team as he waits on his NCAA eligibility court case to sort out. The team is not expected to have a clear answer until the summer, but in the meantime, the senior wide receiver can be a part of team activities. The 6-foot-5 pass-catcher closed out the 202 season with 24 receptions for 239 yards and one touchdown.

Bryant Wesco Jr. - Looks amazing for spring Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney said Wescon (back) "looks amazing" and is participating in everything other than live work, Jon Blau of The Charleston Post and Courier reports.

Impact Wesco went down with a scary back injury in October versus SMU this past season, but he looks to be on the come-up as spring ball progresses. The incoming junior wide receiver brought in 31 catches for 537 yards and six touchdowns before his season-ender. If he continues to progress in this way, he should be back to full contact come fall camp, if not sooner.

Olsen Patt-Henry - Remaining out in spring Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney said Patt-Henry (undisclosed) will not practice in the spring, Jon Blau of The Charleston Post and Courier reports.

Impact Patt-Henry missed the final two games of the Tigers' 2025 season, and he'll delay his return at least until fall camp. The junior tight end brought in 16 catches for 126 yards this past campaign, which are both career highs.
