Avery Morrow - Leads backfield again Morrow logged 25 carries for 140 yards and a touchdown and caught three targets for 20 yards during Saturday's 39-31 overtime loss to Oregon State.

Impact Morrow's now seen 20-plus carries in consecutive games while totaling 296 yards and three touchdowns in that span. After getting just eight carries in the Rams' first three games this year, the senior Morrow looks to have reclaimed the lead-back role in Ft. Collins.

Impact After missing CSU's last game with a groin injury, Horton returned with a huge effort against the Beavers, setting season-highs in receptions and yardage while hauling in his first touchdown on the campaign. Hopefully Saturday's performance is a sign of things to come for Horton, who had just 10 receptions for 120 yards in his first three games of 2024 after topping 1,100 yards in his prior two seasons with the Rams.

Impact Fowler-Nicolosi has yet to get things going this year -- he's completed 60 percent of his passes for just 580 yards, two touchdowns and four interceptions through his first four games. Losing top wideout Tory Horton (groin) in Week 4 certainly didn't make things easier for the sophomore quarterback. Fowler-Nicolosi will look to regroup during Colorado State's bye week prior to a tough road matchup versus Oregon State.

It's encouraging to see the senior Morrow get back on track as he appears lined up to share work with Marshall moving forward.
