Heading to Memphis Gammage will transfer to Memphis, he announced Monday on Twitter.

Impact Gammage was a high-volume receiver with the Thundering Herd, tallying 130 catches over the past two seasons for 1,652 yards and eight scores. The wideout also proved his durability and reliability, playing in all thirteen games in both 2021 and 2022. The big-bodied receiver will be an instant boost to the Memphis receiving corps, and will play for the Tigers as a grad transfer.

Set to leave Marshall Gammage announced Wednesday via his personal Twitter account that he's entered the transfer portal.

Impact Gammage has operated as the Thundering Herd's top pass catcher throughout the last three seasons, leading the team with 165 receptions for 2,052 yards and 12 touchdowns in that span. He's now slated to pursue opportunities elsewhere to conclude his last remaining year of collegiate eligibility, and he'll likely draw interest from power-five programs.

Impact Grant Wells definitely likes to look for Gammage. Through two games he has 14 receptions. It would be nice if he did more with them, but if he keeps getting the ball in his hands big plays will happen.

Impact Gammage was clearly targeted in the Marshall passing game this week. Opening the season with seven catches is encouraging to be sure. While he didn't score a touchdown, that may be more on quarterback Grant Wells, who should do better going forward.
