Scores again Saturday Carnes accrued three receptions (on six targets) for 56 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 41-37 win versus Florida Atlantic.

Impact Carnes scored his second touchdown of the season Saturday, a 19-yard reception in the first quarter. He now has three straight games with at least five targets and at least 50 yards receiving, a very promising sign of consistency. His involvement in the Eagles' highly productive passing attack gives him a solid floor moving forward.

Impact Carnes scored his first touchdown of the season Saturday, a 14-yard reception in the third quarter. He also led the team with eight targets -- a season high for him -- and gained 50 yards in his second straight outing. His 13 targets over the last two weeks is a promising sign, and while there are a lot of talented and productive receivers on the team, Chandler Morris throws the ball enough to allow multiple players to consistently produce.

90 yards versus Wyoming Carnes gathered in 4 of 5 targets for 90 yards during Saturday's 44-17 win versus Wyoming.

Impact Carnes had his first productive outing with North Texas since joining the program in the offseason as he gained nearly 100 yards on just four catches. It came out of nowhere as he had just 25 receiving yards through three games. It appears he is starting to gain the trust of Chandler Morris, but there are so many talented receivers on the roster so Carnes will struggle to stay consistently relevant.

Impact Carnes has opted to explore opportunities with new programs this offseason after spending the last two seasons with Houston. The 5-foot-9 redshirt freshman appeared in all 12 games this season, totaling 20 receptions for 263 yards and one touchdown.
