Decent in limited action Saturday Richardson completed 8 of 9 passes for 93 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 24-21 loss to Rice.

Impact Richardson started Saturday's season finale but was removed from the game in the third quarter for undisclosed reasons, as redshirt sophomore Tyriq Starks got his first action of the season down the stretch. Richardson completed all but one of his passing attempts and tossed one touchdown, a 36-yarder to Tony Johnson in the third quarter. He ends the season with a fairly unimpressive stat line, as he completed 65.4 percent of his passes for 2,001 yards, 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

Impact Richardson was fairly efficient Saturday as he completed over 77 percent of his passes, but he was not very productive. He tossed one touchdown, a four-yard pass to Kahlil Brantley in the fourth quarter and threw an interception in his ninth straight game. He faces a significantly more favorable matchup Saturday in the regular season finale at Rice.

He was also not on the field for the Owls' only touchdown, as backup quarterback Michael Johnson scored his fifth rushing touchdown in the last five games. Impact Richardson had a productive outing Saturday and almost all of his production funneled directly to Lajohntay Wester. Wester accounted for 219 of Richardson's 293 yards and caught all three of his touchdown passes. It was the third time in his past four games that Richardson has tossed three touchdown passes, and Wester has caught six of those nine touchdowns.

Impact Richardson bounced back with a three-touchdown performance Friday after a rough outing last Saturday versus UTSA. He rediscovered his connection with LeJohntay Wester as he found him 10 times for nearly 150 yards and two touchdowns, both of which came in the second quarter. He faces another favorable matchup next Saturday at UAB, a defense which has allowed 35 or more points in seven consecutive games.

Poor in loss to UTSA Richardson was 19-for-34 passing for 142 yards and two interceptions during Saturday's 36-10 loss to Texas-San Antonio. He also had five rushes for -34 yards.

Impact Richardson had a rough outing Saturday as he set season lows in completion percentage and rushing yards and turned the ball over twice for the first time this season. He just could not find his rhythm versus a solid Roadrunners' defense, but he has a decent chance to bounce back at Charlotte Friday.
