GAME LOG
Expected to practice
Barlow (lower body) is expected to practice, Michael Koh of WCHL & Chapelboro reports.
Impact
After not practicing before sitting out North Carolina's latest game, Barlow practicing now is welcome news. UNC and North Carolina State are expected to play their rivalry game Saturday.

ROTOWIRE
Currently not practicing
Barlow (lower body) is not practicing for North Carolina currently, Michael Koh of WCHL & Chapelboro reports.
Impact
Barlow's status update is certainly not welcome news out of North Carolina, who got him back not too long ago only to see him be unavailable for Week 12. Week 13 includes another UNC game scheduled for Saturday at Boston College.

ROTOWIRE
Out for Wake Forest game
Barlow (lower body) is out for North Carolina's game Saturday against Wake Forest, Rivals.com reports.
Impact
Just when it looked like Barlow was finally in the clear for lower-body injuries, another one will take him out of action for at least a game. Up next for North Carolina is Wake Forest, followed by a Nov. 23 matchup at Boston College.

ROTOWIRE
Logs 17-yard reception
Barlow (lower body) logged one reception for 17 yards during North Carolina's 41-34 loss Saturday against Georgia Tech.
Impact
Barlow benefited from a 3rd-and-22 at Georgia Tech's 49-yard line, as North Carolina's quarterback Jacolby Criswell tried to go deep and found Barlow, who logged 17 yards off a reception. As for the running back, his next objective is to log quality carries, though they will not be assured to come by. Omarion Hampton is North Carolina's clear-cut No. 1 at running back, and Davion Gause has a decent hold on the RB2 role.

ROTOWIRE
Warming up Saturday
Barlow (lower body) is in uniform and participating in warmups ahead of Saturday's game versus Georgia Tech, Michael Koh of WCHL & Chapelboro reports.
Impact
Barlow hasn't played since the opener against Minnesota, but the senior's string of absences could end Saturday if pregame warmups are any indication. Barlow was expected to work in behind Omarion Hampton this season and could see some reps Saturday if he's healthy enough to give it a go.

ROTOWIRE
Still working back
Barlow (lower body) is "still working back" from his injury, Rivals reports.
Impact
Considering that Barlow was out for North Carolina's latest game two days ago, him still needing to physically improve is not surprising. Once again, his availability status is questionable, this time as the Tar Heels prepare to host Georgia Tech on Oct. 12.

ROTOWIRE
Won't play Saturday
Barlow (lower body) is not available for Saturday's game against Pittsburgh, Michael Koh of WCHL & Chapelboro reports.
Impact
Barlow has yet to play since the opener and it remains unknown when he could return. Davion Guise will continue to fill in as a complementary back to Omarion Hampton while Barlow remains sidelined.

ROTOWIRE
Could participate in UNC practices
Barlow (lower body) could participate in North Carolina's team practices this week, Michael Koh of WCHL & Chapelboro reports.
Impact
Barlow participating in North Carolina's team practices improves his chances of being available during a UNC game, its next currently scheduled for Oct. 5 against Pittsburgh.

ROTOWIRE
Out at Duke
Barlow (lower body) is out for North Carolina's game Saturday at Duke, Michael Koh of WCHL & Chapelboro reports.
Impact
North Carolina's football program is not beating around the bush on Barlow's availability this time around. He is flat-out unavailable Saturday, rendering his earliest return date to October.

ROTOWIRE
Won't play vs. James Madison
Barlow (lower body) won't be able to play for the Tar Heels in Week 4, Inside Carolina reports.
Impact
Barlow hasn't played since the opener, and it appears that won't change against the Dukes. He worked his way back into the Tar Heels' practice this week, but that wasn't enough to get him on the field. With Barlow unavailable, Davion Gause should see more opportunities.

•
ROTOWIRE
Will be worked back into practice
Barlow (lower body) will be worked back into North Carolina's team practice this week, Michael Koh of WCHL & Chapelboro reports.
Impact
Koh's update is the first acknowledgment of Barlow participating in a North Carolina practice since he was out against UNC Charlotte on Sept. 7, his first of what turned out to be consecutive DNPs. So currently, he is questionable for the Tar Heels' game Saturday against James Madison.

ROTOWIRE
Won't play Saturday
Barlow (lower body) is out for Saturday's game against North Carolina Central, Rivals.com reports.
Impact
Barlow was initially listed as questionable after sitting out the Week 2 contest against UNC Charlotte, but it seems he hasn't recovered yet. His next chance to play will come against James Madison on Sep. 21, meaning Davion Gause and Caleb Hood should have more touches out of the backfield as Omarion Hampton's backup alternatives.

ROTOWIRE
Injury specified, will be monitored
Barlow (lower body) will be monitored across the week, Michael Koh of WCHL & Chapelboro reports.
Impact
Previously undisclosed, Barlow's lower-body injury was specified Monday and is why he sat out when North Carolina hosted UNC Charlotte on Saturday. Chapel Hill needing to monitor him indicates his current status is questionable at best.

ROTOWIRE
Injury revealed, will be monitored
Barlow (lower body) will be monitored across the week, Michael Koh of WCHL & Chapelboro reports.
Impact
Previously undisclosed, Barlow's lower-body injury caused his DNP when North Carolina hosted UNC Charlotte on Saturday. Chapel Hill needing to monitor him indicates his availability status is questionable before the Tar Heels play their next game.

•
ROTOWIRE
Not in pads Saturday
Barlow (undisclosed) is not in pads and will not play Saturday versus Charlotte, Michael Koh of WCHL & Chapelboro reports.
Impact
Barlow will miss Saturday's game with an undisclosed injury, but luckily for the Tar Heels, Caleb Hood is good to go. Barlow received two touches (for seven yards) in the season opener and is expected to be Hood's backup when healthy.

Scored touchdown in loss
Barlow logged two rushes for 44 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 52-42 loss to Washington.
Impact
MarShawn Lloyd's absence was felt in the loss, as the running game never got going. Austin Jones had some decent runs, but the seldom-used Barlow was able to break through. If Lloyd is able to return, we're unlikely to see much from Barlow for the remainder of the season.
