Impact Patterson has only one year of collegiate eligibility, and he will look to maximize that year by considering all his available suitors in the transfer portal. The wideout is coming off a career year for Florida International. So if Patterson does change colleges, he is expected to upgrade his team and competition for 2025.

Impact Patterson finishes the season with 50 catches for 687 yards and seven touchdowns as the number-two receiver behind Eric Rivers. If Rivers uses his big year to mix it up in the transfer portal, Patterson could be in line to have a bigger year in 2025...if he doesn't transfer himself.

Impact Patterson has managed to tally 46 catches and score five touchdowns even as the number-two option behind Eric Rivers. For a 3-8 team, that's pretty impressive.

Impact Patterson got back on track after three games with under 20 yards (though he had two touchdowns in that time). Keyone Jenkins targeted his number-two receiver 15 times as well, which is certainly a good sign for the rest of the year, and for Patterson's numbers.

Impact The touchdown is nice, but Patterson's numbers have been down recently. He has been held under 20 yards in each of his last three games.

Impact After a slow start, over the prior five weeks Patterson had 22 catches for 327 yards and three touchdowns. Fortunately for him, FIU gets NMSU in its next game, one of the worst FBS defenses.

Turns one catch into TD Patterson caught one pass for a 16-yard touchdown against UTEP on Wednesday.

Impact This was an odd game, as Patterson only had three targets. In five of his seven games this year he's had at least seven targets. He still managed to score a touchdown to salvage the day, though, and next week should be better for him.

Nets 90 yards Patterson had six catches for 90 yards Tuesday against Liberty.

Impact This is the most yards Patterson has had in a game this season, but his role has been consistent. The redshirt junior has at least five catches in five out of six games this year.

Another five-catch game Patterson caught five passes for 74 yards Saturday against La Tech.

Impact Four times in five games Patterson has caught exactly five passes. Over the last three weeks he's had over 70 yards in every game, and he's tallied three touchdowns. Eric Rivers has been the best receiver for FIU, but it feels like the long-lackluster program has a couple weapons in 2024.

Impact This is the third time in four games Patterson has had five receptions. He also has back-to-back games with a touchdown. It would appear he is the top receiver for FIU, and if he is going to keep reeling in this many receptions, he could produce in conference play.

Finds end zone Patterson caught five passes for 79 yards and a score Saturday against FAU.

Impact This is Patterson's second game with five catches already this season. However, he also came into this game with six catches for 38 yards total, and he now has two career receiving touchdowns even though he's been with FIU since 2021.

Catches five passes Patterson caught five passes for 28 yards against Indiana on Saturday.

Impact Sure, FIU is a Conference USA team, and it was visiting a Big Ten team in Week 1. However, Indiana is not exactly Ohio State. Keyone Jenkins did look to Patterson, but the passing game sputtered, and it will need to look better next week against Central Michigan.

Impact Better late than never. In the penultimate game of FIU's season, Patterson got his first career collegiate touchdown.
