Lead rusher in win Hankins tallied 16 rushes for 117 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 38-17 victory over Louisiana-Monroe.

Impact Hankins handled eight more carries than Ismail Mahdi on Saturday and averaged 7.3 yards per rush. Mahdi was benched late in the Bobcats' previous game after fumbling, so Hankins could continue to see an expanded role, even if it does not entail double-digit carries. Hankins had logged one carry in Texas State's last two games.
