Impact McFall managed to make his collegiate debut in SMU's blowout Week 1 win. The true freshman handled 16 carries for 69 yards. It wasn't the most efficient performance, but the fact that the coaching staff wanted to get such an extended look at a true freshman bodes well for McFall's future. He likely won't see that many carries in a competitive game, but the overall the tailback made a good impression.
