Bottled up on the ground Reid notched 11 carries for 26 yards and caught 4 of 5 targets for 50 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 38-34 win over West Virginia. Impact Reid was coming off two massive, 145-plus yard performances in Week 1 and Week 2, but was limited to just 26 yards against the Mountaineers. Situational football had something to do with this, as Pittsburgh trailed West Virginia late in the game and needed to throw the football in order to author its comeback. Still, Reid proved he can contribute even while the team needs to air it out, as he reled in four catches for 50 yards. Despite the quieter day on the ground, Reid should be counted on moving forward as the Panthers' unquestioned top back.
