Heavier volume and three TDs Vaughn rushed for 120 yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries while also reeling in two of six targets for an additional yard in Saturday's 31-23 win over Southern Illinois.

Impact Vaughn saw a boost in volume in part due to Skylar Thompson going down with a non-contact leg injury which forced the Wildcats to lean more heavily on the run game. Backup Will Howard really struggled through the air which could be a recurring problem on the season. Through two games, Vaughn has back-to-back 100-yard rushing games and four total touchdowns. Kansas State will host Nevada next week.

Big impact on 15 touches in opener Vaughn rushed for 124 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries while also grabbing two catches for 12 yards in Saturday's 24-7 win over Stanford.

Impact Vaughn made a big impact on the game with just 15 touches as he scampered for a 59-yard touchdown en route to his fourth career 100-yard rushing game. The ceiling is high for the little speedster as he could put up monster numbers if Kansas State decides to give him 20-25 touches which he saw in just one game last year. Vaughn and the Wildcats will host Southern Illinois next week.
