Two clutch catches in win Watts caught two passes for 83 yards in Monday's 46-45 win over USC.

Impact Watts only made two plays Monday, but his 59-yard reception late in the fourth quarter proved to be a huge moment in the Green Wave's 15-point comeback. Watts also caught a 24-yard pass with 18 seconds left to get Tulane down to the six yard line, before Michael Pratt threw a touchdown pass two plays later to win the Cotton Bowl. With Watts out of eligibility, receivers down the depth chart will need to step up to fill in for his production.

Snares touchdown in scrimmage Watts (undisclosed) reeled in a touchdown during the team's scrimmage Saturday, WGNO reports.

Impact Watts is set to retake his role atop the depth chart after his 2020 season ended with him on the sidelines for the team's bowl game. He displayed som spurts of production last season, notching 13 catches for 219 yards and five touchdowns over a three-game span, but will look for more consistent production this year.

Missed spring practices Watts (undisclosed) sat out most of the spring with an injury, Guerry Smith of The New Orleans Advocate reports.

Impact Watts got hurt during the first week of spring practices, but it is unclear what the injury was. He is expected to lead the Green Wave receiving attack provided he is 100 percent by the time we get to Week 1. If there's anything to worry about here it will be updated accordingly.
