Wiped out for season Kargman underwent hip surgery after the Penn State game and will be out for the season, Steve Helwick of SBNation reports.

Impact Kargman was immediately knocked out of the game against the Nittany Lions, and now the quarterback is officially done for the 2024 season. He tossed for 432 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions this fall. Because he was injured in the fourth game of the season, he should be able to use this season as a redshirt year and preserve his eligibility.

Stretchered off vs. Penn State Kargman was carted off the field during the Golden Flashes' clash with Penn State, Audrey Snyder of The Athletic reports.

Impact Kargman threw just one pass before he was injured in the first minute of the game against the Nittany Lions. The nature of the injury is still unclear, but obviously the stretcehr isn't a good sign. JD Sherrod will likely be Kent State's quarterback moving forward.

Abysmal in blowout Kargman completed 9 of 15 passes for 58 yards during Saturday's 71-0 defeat against Tennessee.

Impact Kargman couldn't do much against the Volunteers' defense, and he hasn't really had a "good" game yet this season. The junior quarterback has played some solid teams in the past few weeks, so he'll have to stand his own against conference opponents before a possible benching is in the works.
