Heading to Washington Johnson has announced that he will transfer to Washington for the 2023-24 season, Adam Rittenberg of ESPN.com reports. Impact Johnson will make the move to Washington after spending three seasons with Mississippi State. The junior running back excelled both as a ball carrier, and as a receiving threat out of the backfield with the Bulldogs, totaling 229 carries for 1,198 yards, 149 receptions for 864 receiving yards and 12 total touchdowns, across 33 games. Johnson will look to take on a larger role with the Huskies next season.
