Heading to Tulane Leary has committed to play for Tulane for the 2025 season, per Pete Nakos of On3.com.

Impact Leary will join the Green Wave following three seasons with Illinois. The redshirt sophomore quarterback appeared in just two games for the Fighting Illini in 2024, completing two of five pass attempts for 19 scoreless yards. He will retain two years of eligibility with Tulane.

Leaving Champaign Leary will enter the transfer portal, Mike Farrell of MikeFarrellSports.com reports.

Impact Leary completed 2-of-5 passes for 29 yards as a reserve option in 2024. The gunslinger figures to have three seasons of eligibility remaining.
