Scores late TD in loss Allar completed 18 of 42 passes for 191 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 20-12 defeat against Ohio State. He also had seven rushes for -23 yards. Impact Allar and the Nittany Lions offense was nearly shut out aside from two field-goal conversions, but the sophomore signal-caller managed to lead a late touchdown drive with his team down 20-6 late in the fourth quarter. This was certainly the worst performance of Allar's young career, as he logged a season low in completion percentage (42.9 percent) while also netting negative rushing yards for the first time this year. Allar was not solely responsible for the struggles of Penn State's offense, as the team's wideouts once again failed to gain much, if any, separation from the opposing defensive backs. While Allar still has not committed a turnover this season, he's only averaging 206.4 passing yards per game. Penn State's capped passing offense will likely continue to limit his fantasy value moving forward. That being said, the Week 9 matchup against Indiana could yield a big bounce-back spot for Allar and the entire Nittany Lions team.
