Heading to Stillwater Collins announced Thursday he will transfer to Oklahoma State.

Impact Collins will look to carve out a role with the Cowboys during his final season of collegiate eligibility in 2023. The graduate-senior running back spent the first four seasons of his career with Michigan State. While he never saw consistent playing time over the past three campaigns, the 225-pound back did emerge as one of the Spartans' top ball carriers to end the 2022 season, as he logged double-digit carries in each of the final two regular-season games. Collins will likely compete with young running backs Ollie Gordon and Jaden Nixon for snaps this coming offseason.

Impact Collins is now set to search for opportunities elsewhere to pursue his final remaining year of eligibility next fall. Ever since the 2019-20 campaign when the 225-pound running back registered 222 carries for 988 yards and five scores, he hasn't received the consistent playing time he'd hoped for at Michigan State, combining for just 129 attempts, 510 yards and six touchdowns over the next three seasons.
