Nabs go-ahead TD in comeback McAlister caught 1 of 2 targets for 84 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 35-34 victory over Texas Tech.

Impact McAlister's lone catch was a huge one as it ended up being the go-ahead touchdown as TCU came back from a 17-point deficit. It was McAlister's fourth touchdown of the season. TCU will play Baylor next week in a game that should feature a ton of points.

Impact McAlister led the way for the TCU receivers in game that did not feature a lot of offense. QB Josh Hoover wasn't particularly accurate in this one and TCU leaned heavily on their defense to secure the win. McAlister should have more opportunities against Texas Tech next week.

Impact McAlister reeled off his second straight 100-yard receiving game and also has a touchdown in three straight contests. TCU's high-tempo offense allows for many playmakers and McAlister is definitely one of those guys. He doesn't have the upside that Jack Bech has, but he's still worth considering with consistent targets each week. TCU will play Houston next week.

Impact McAlister, a Boise State transfer, recorded his first 100-yard receiving game with the Horned Frogs. He had three 100-yard receiving games with the Broncos in the 2023 season, so he's capable of stringing together big games. His biggest challenge is going to be Jack Bech and Savion Williams who are stud receivers ahead of him on the depth chart. TCU will play at Kansas next week.

Williams and Richardson's spots as starters reportedly seem cemented, meaning McAlister will have to compete with Wright for the remaining vacancy. The ex-Boise State receiver is making a case for why he should win out. Wright being limited during the fall has helped McAlister continue to make plays, whether they are with TCU's first or second team.
