Impact The Aggies have a terrible defense, so accounting for opposition this may not be the best performance of the season for an FBS receiver. In terms of sheer stats, though, Rivers may have just had the game of the year for a receiver, and he came into this game with five games with over 90 yards and five total touchowns.

Impact The FIU passing game really struggled on this one, but that didn't stop Rivers from getting his number. Though he did not have over 90 receiving yards again after doing that five games in a row, 42 yards and a touchdown certainly suffices.

Impact That makes five games in a row with at least four catches and 90 yards for Rivers. He's been a top-notch receiver, but there is one reason for hesitation at the moment. Due to injuries to the top-two guys on the depth chart, third-string quarterback Haden Carlson may be starting under center next week against Sam Houston.

Impact Granted, those five catches came on 10 targets, but on the other hand it stands out that Rivers was targeted 10 times. More pressing for fantasy purposes, in each of his last four games Rivers has had at least four catches and at least 95 yards.

Impact Rivers fell just short of his third 100-yard game in a row, but he did catch a touchdown for the third time in four outings. While the redshirt junior did little in the opener against Indiana, perception of Curt Cignetti's squad has changed quite a bit since then. Rivers is looking quite good for the Panthers.

Impact That's back-to-back games with 101 yards for Rivers. He has averaged a whopping 21.3 yards per receptions in 2024, so it would appear he can be a big-play threat for the Panthers.
