Candidate for starting RB job Hull, Andrew Clair and freshman Anthony Tyus III are the leading candidates for carries at running back after the season-ending injury to Cam Porter, the Daily Northwestern reports... Impact Porter was expected to be the bell cow running back for the Wildcats, so it's not clear how the carries will be divided among the backups. Hull didn't get many touches last season (25 carries for 209 yards and six receptions for 41 yards), but had 13 carries for 149 yards and a touchdown in a blowout win over Illinois. He's the leading candidate to start the season opener against Michigan State since he has the most experience in the offense.
