Impact Simon failed to score a touchdown in his second straight game Saturday, but he did enough to earn his team the win in overtime. He threw for over 200 yards for the fifth time in his last six starts, however his lack of production in the last two games is somewhat concerning. He faces a pair of favorable matchups to end the season though, starting on Friday at UTSA.

Impact Simon was completely neutralized in Saturday's blowout loss. He completed just 50 percent of his passes for a measly 56 passing yards, easily his fewest this season. He also gained just five rushing yards on 13 attempts, thanks in large part to being sacked six times versus a strong Tulane defense. Luckily for him that was easily his most difficult game left and he faces three very favorable matchups to end the season, the types of matchups that he has proven he can produce in.

Impact Simon accounted for four touchdowns in Saturday's loss, his second time this season with four or more scores. He threw three threw the air and scored one on the ground. He also threw three interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown, so his outing was not without serious mistakes. Still, it looks like he's done enough to keep the job over Forrest Brock and given how much he has been throwing the ball, he will have some solid value down the stretch.

Impact Simon put up a decent performance Saturday as he threw for a season-high 297 yards as he led the Owls to their second win of the season. He threw one touchdown in the game, bringing him up to 10 in four games this season. He attempted a season-high 46 passes but maintained his efficiency, completing over 63 percent of his passes for the fourth straight game. He faces a slightly more difficult matchup Saturday at East Carolina.

Simon will have two more weeks to get healthy before the Owls host Tulsa on Oct. 19.

He was under pressure all game and was sacked seven times, leading to his negative rushing output. He has been solid since taking over from Forrest Brock (wrist) and has likely earned the season-long starting job during Brock's absence.

Impact Simon started his second consecutive game with Forrest Brock (wrist) out, and put on a show. He threw five touchdown passes to five different receivers, and added nearly 50 yards and touchdown on the ground. Even if Brock is healthy enough for Thursday's game versus Navy, Simon may start anyway after his electric performance in the Owls' first win of the season.
