He was the lead back to start this game, but after his fumble the back was benched and Jevon Jackson excelled. Huge role in the offense Jolly ran 27 times for 119 yards and caught two passes for 21 yards versus WKU on Thursday.

Impact As soon as Jolly got healthy, he was thrust into a major role for the Miners. He had 18 touches last week, and had 29 this week. He's also over 200 total yards on the season and has scored a touchdown already, so he's doing damage with his workload.

Rushes for TD Jolly ran 17 times for 76 yards and a touchdown against Sam Houston on Thursday, but he lost a fumble.

Impact As a freshman last season, Jolly was limited to four games due to injury. He was "healthy" to start this season, but played one snap in the opener and then did not see the field again until this game. Well, now healthy, Jolly comfortably got the most carries of any UTEP back.
