Impact Lagway was reported earlier in the day to be unexpected to play against Texas. Still, it's understandable that Florida went with a questionable designation so as to not give the Longhorns any more information than necessary about its quarterback plans. Aidan Warner still figures to start should Lagway be unable to go.

Impact Warner filled in for Lagway when the true freshman got carted to the locker room against Georgia with a hamstring injury. Although Lagway's injury is reportedly less severe than initially feared, he seems unlikely to play in Austin, which would leave Warner as the starter. Last week in relief, Warner was 7 of 22 passing for 66 yards and an interception.

Impact Lagway was carted off the field against Georgia with an injury that initially looked extremely severe. However, it was reported on Monday that the quarterback's injury is less significant that was initially expected. Nonetheless, it doesn't appear Lagway will suit up against the Longhorns. In his absence, Aidan Warner should take the reins at quarterback for the Gators.
