Expected to be starter Sharader (hamstring) is back to full health and is expected to be the starter going into the 2022 season, Neil Adler of Fansided.com reports.

Impact Shrader missed some time during the spring due to a hamstring injury. He started the bulk of the games last year for the Orange and should do the same this season unless something drastic happens. Syracuse will open the season on Sept. 3 against Louisville.

Sits spring game with hammy issue Shrader didn't take part in the spring game last Friday due to a minor hamstring injury, Stephen Bailey of 247Sports reports.

Impact Shrader reportedly tweaked the hamstring at the end of a 60-yard run during a scrimmage the previous week. He appeared to be moving around well in positional drills and threw during portions of practice during the week leading up to the game, so Shrader was likely held out as a precaution. He should line up as the Orange's starting quarterback again this fall.
