Impact The wideout hasn't played since Week 4, and that continued against the Cougars. Freeman caught six passes for 45 yards through four games, but has now missed three straight games. His next chance to play will come against BYU on Oct. 26.

Not dressed Saturday Freeman is not dressed out for Saturday's game against West Virginia, Scott Wright of The Oklahoman reports.

Impact Wright speculated that it's possible the Cowboys' coaching staff is planning to redshirt Freeman the rest of the year after he played in the first four games. If that's the case, Freeman will not be able to appear in a game until the 2025 season. He's totaled six catches for 45 yards on the year.
