Arik Gilbert - Considered 'day-to-day' in Week 4 Georgia head coach Kirby Smart said Gilbert (personal) will be "day-to-day throughout the week" heading into Saturday's game against Kent State, Matt Howe of 247Sports.com reports.

Impact Gilbert did not travel with the Bulldogs for the team's road matchup against South Carolina this past Saturday while dealing with a personal issue, though Smart did not elaborate any further on the reasons behind his absence in Week 3 against the Gamecocks. The 6-foot-5 hybrid pass catcher was targeted just twice over the first two games of the season, and he did not suit up during his first year with Georgia in 2021. If Gilbert continues to sit out in Week 4, then tight ends Oscar Delp and Brett Seither could see increased usage behind starters Brock Bowers and Darnell Washington against the Golden Flashes.

Adonai Mitchell - Questionable for Saturday Mitchell (ankle) is questionable for Saturday's game against Kent State, Jordan D. Hill of 247Sports.com reports.

Impact Mitchell exited the game during Georgia's matchup with Samford on Sept. 10, with an ankle injury, and he did not return to the contest. The sophomore wideout was also unavailable for Saturday's matchup with South Carolina, but head coach Kirby Smart is hopeful that he will be able to return this weekend. Mitchell is expected to be the top-target in the Bulldogs' offense this season, and the 6-foot-4 sophomore tallied four receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown in the season-opener against Oregon. If Mitchell is unable to return this week, Ladd McConkey and Dominick Blaylock should continue to see expanded roles for the Bulldogs.
