Kendall Milton - Picks up hamstring injury Georgia coach Kirby Smart said Saturday that Milton is dealing with a grade 1 hamstring injury, Jordan D. Hill of 247Sports reports.
Impact Milton was sidelined during the Bulldogs' preseason scrimmage Saturday due to this injury, though Smart added that it was "nothing severe." The junior running back was a member of the 2020 Freshman All-SEC team, averaging 5.5 yards on an even 5.0 rushing attempts over his seven games played that season. Milton then missed time with a strained MCL at various points between the 2020 and 2021 campaigns, and he should slot in as Georgia's No. 2 running back behind Kenny McIntosh this coming season.
