George Pickens - Remains without return timeline Coach Kirby Smart said Tuesday he has "no idea of a date of return" for Pickens (knee), Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner-Herald reports.

Impact Pickens is currently straight-line running but doesn't appear close to retaking the field for the Bulldogs. The start wideout tore his ACL in March and continues to progress in his recovery, and an upcoming checkup with Dr. James Andrews could shed more light on when he may be cleared for game action.

Jackson's primary hurdle is being confident that his knee will hold up to make the necessary cuts, and it seems like he's not quite there yet in that regard. At this point, it's unclear if or how much he will be able to contribute Saturday against UAB.

Impact Blaylock missed the opener but is reportedly closer to game-ready than fellow receiver Kearis Jackson (knee) who was available for the opener but only contributed in the form of a punt return. Due to suffering a torn ACL during camp last fall, Blaylock hasn't seen the field since 2019, when he racked up 18 catches for 310 yards and five touchdowns. It doesn't sound like he will necessarily be ready for Week 2 but he seems to be making progress and closing in on his first action in more than a year.
