JC French - Middling in defeat French was 17-for-29 passing for 259 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Thursday's 47-19 defeat against Old Dominion. He also had four rushes for 23 yards.

Impact French didn't have a terrible game individually, but he and the Golden Eagles struggled to keep up early on. Dual-threat backup quarterback Dexter Williams entered the game for one play and fumbled inside Old Dominion territory and a 51-yard field goal was missed by Georgia State. Williams re-entered the game late in the fourth quarter, though head coach Clay Helton committed to French as the Week 10 starter, Jeff Roberts of WTOC11 reports.

OJ Arnold - Scores in return to action Arnold (undisclosed) logged seven carries for 36 yards and caught their only target for four yards and one touchdown during Thursday's 47-19 defeat to Old Dominion.

Impact Arnold, who was a game-time decision against Old Dominion after sitting out last week against JMU, logged 40 total yards and a touchdown in his return to the field Thursday. The 5-foot-10 junior has formed a nice one-two punch with Jalen White this season, logging 43 carries for 253 yards and two touchdowns, along with 13 receptions for 68 yards and two touchdowns in the receiving game.

Impact White was held to a season-low 19 rushing yards in Week 7, but he bounced back with season-highs in carries, rushing yards and receiving yards. In the two games White has received at least 20 carries, he's averaging 124 yards on 5.5 yards per carry. He has seven rushing touchdowns in seven games this year.

However, he was a full go and completed 72.7 percent of his passes while setting a season high in passing touchdowns. The redshirt sophomore did throw a career-high three interceptions, hampering the otherwise excellent day.
