Stone Earle - Ends up not startingEarle is backing up Braylon Braxton for Thursday's game versus Georgia State, Luke Creasy of The Huntington Herald-Dispatch reports.
ImpactDespite taking first team reps in pregame warmups, Earle was benched Thursday for Braylon Braxton. It appears him taking first team reps was just a tactic to trick the Panthers. It's not clear yet if the Herd's move to Braxton is permanent or just for Thursday's contest.

Braylon Braxton - Starts Thursday's gameBraxton is starting Thursday's game versus Georgia State, Luke Creasy of The Huntington Herald-Dispatch reports.

It's a surprising move given Stone Earle took first team reps in warmups, but it appears that was to trick Georgia State. Braxton has seven touchdown passes on just 41 attempts this season.

Zach Gibson - Spliting snaps with VeilleuxGibson will split snaps with Christian Veilleux against Marshall, Ben Moore of 247Sports.com reports.
ImpactGibson has yet to start a game this season, but he is coming off a performance in which he went 6-for-6 through the air for 49 yards and a touchdown against Old Dominion. It seems unlikely that he would get the start, but either way, he'll continue to see playing time this week.
