Impact Payne played in Notre Dame's spring game but unfortunately should miss the entire 2024 campaign. The 5-foot-9 running back tallied 45 attempts for 168 yards and two touchdowns in the 2023 season, and it appeared he would be getting a bigger role in the Fighting Irish's offense this season though he'll now have to wait a year for that opportunity.
