Two passing touchdowns in win Haarberg was 6-for-11 passing for 122 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 31-14 victory against Purdue. He also had 19 rushes for 22 yards and two fumbles.

Impact Haarberg threw multiple touchdowns for the first time since the Week 3 win over Northern Illinois. The sophomore quarterback first hit tight end Thomas Fidone for a one-yard touchdown. He then took a long play-action dropback before hitting a wide-open Jaylen Lloyd deep downfield for a walk-in 73-yard touchdown. Haarberg didn't find his usual success in the rushing game, being held below 70 rushing yards for just the second time since taking over as Nebraska's starting quarterback in late September. However, Haarberg did cough up two fumbles in his own territory during the second half, leading him to be temporarily benched for previous starter Jeff Sims (who also fumbled shortly thereafter). Haarberg will look to play a little cleaner when Nebraska faces Michigan State on the road in Week 10.
