Haarberg salvaged this rough start with another solid showing on the ground combined with one of his better passes of the season, hitting wideout Malachi Coleman deep downfield for a 44-yard touchdown that put the game out of reach in the fourth quarter. The Huskers passing game did take a significant hit, as top wideout Billy Kemp exited with what a possibly season-ending knee injury, per Mitch Sherman of The Athletic.
