Impact Head coach Lane Kiffin officially ruled Parrish out for the season, an unsurprising turn of events after his serious knee injury in Week 10 versus Arkansas. The Rebels will be without Parrish for a potential playoff run, so Ulysses Bentley, Matt Jones and Domonique Thomas will take over the backfield for the rest of the season.

Impact Parrish not being part of the Rebels' depth chart for their next game indicates he will sit it out. This is unwelcome news for a Rebels team finally making big noise in the SEC and scheduled to host an SEC powerhouse, only to likely do so without their No. 1 running back. Currently, the SEC's injury report is expected to confirm Parrish as out Wednesday.

Leaves with injury Parrish (leg) went to the locker room on a cart suffering an apparent leg injury, Michael Katz of the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal reports.

Impact Parrish ran the ball 10 times for 22 yards before departing, requiring a cart to go to the locker room. That's not a great sign for the senior back. If he ultimately can't return, Matt Jones figures to assume lead-back duties.

Impact Parrish has scored in six of eight games this season for the Rebels, though has failed to rush for 100 yards in five-straight contests. He has received double-digit carries in seven-straight outings, a trend that should continue at Arkansas next weekend.
