AP Top 25: Oklahoma drops, Kansas and Kansas State enter poll
Phillip Brooks - Strong outing against HoustonBrooks gathered in all five targets for 83 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 41-0 win versus Houston.
ImpactBrooks had his best game during the conference slate with his third touchdown reception of the season. He's been easily Kansas State's most consistent receiver, however, that does provide limited upside as they revolve their offense around the run-game. Going up against a tough Texas defense next week, Brooks has sneaky potential as it could turn out to be a highly competitive game.

DJ Giddens - Leads team with 121 yardsGiddens accrued 13 carries for 96 yards and two touchdowns and reeled in both of his targets for 25 yards during Saturday's 41-0 win over Houston.
ImpactGiddens led the team with 121 total yards and has been a force in the backfield alongside with Treshaun Ward. Both Giddens and Ward have fantasy relevance as Kansas State revolves their offense around the run-game. Expect both players to get plenty of touches at Texas next week.

Treshaun Ward - Adds score against HoustonWard had 10 carries for 32 yards and one touchdown and hauled in all three targets for 15 yards during Saturday's 41-0 win over Houston.
ImpactWard may be the most versatile back on the team, but Giddens has been a force in the backfield as he had 13 carries for 96 yards and two touchdowns in the blowout win. Both Ward and Giddens have been great for the Wildcats and expect both players to receiver a healthy dose of touches at Texas next week.

Avery Johnson - TD pass in reserve roleJohnson was 5-for-6 passing for 46 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 41-0 victory over Houston.
ImpactJohnson was able to pass for his second touchdown of this season, however, moved back to a reserve role as Will Howard was the primary quarterback for the team in the blowout win. Expect Johnson to continue to receive snaps, however, it's not likely he receives the bulk of them. Kansas State will play at Texas next week.
OCTOBER 29, 2023ā€¢ROTOWIRE
Jake Rubley - Completes first pass this seasonRubley completed 1 of 1 passes for five yards during Saturday's 41-0 win over Houston.
ImpactRubley was able to record his first passing attempt and completion of the 2023 season. He did appear in two games for the Wildcats in 2022. Kansas State will play at Texas next week.
OCTOBER 29, 2023ā€¢ROTOWIRE
Will Howard - Receives majority of snaps in winHoward completed 15 of 17 passes for 164 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 41-0 win against Houston. He also had nine rushes for 24 yards.
ImpactAlthough three different quarterbacks played against Houston, Howard was clearly the top option and is the best bet to be the primary starter moving forward. He threw multiple touchdown passes for the fifth time this season. His upside is limited though as it doesn't appear that they will move away from using Avery Johnson around the goal-line and they have a couple of stud running backs in Treshaun Ward and DJ Giddens. Kansas State has a big game at Texas next week.
