Impact Dekkers will forgo his remaining years of collegiate eligibility, now multiple with the NCAA's new rule on JUCO seasons, to turn pro by 2025. He finished his 2024 season at a junior college. Before then, Dekkers played FBS football in 2022. That year saw him complete 66.1 percent of 457 pass attempts for 3,044 yards and a 19-14 TD-INT ratio with Iowa State. He also logged two rushing TDs, giving him 21 total in the category then.

Poor passing performance at KU Dekkers completed 30 of 48 passes for 287 yards and a touchdown with an interception in Saturday's 14-11 loss at Kansas.

Impact Dekkers' completed just 62.5 percent of his passes which was a season-low. It didn't help that he needed to attempt a season-high 48 passes as Iowa State had all kinds of trouble moving the ball versus the Jayhawks. Dekkers has been hit or miss during the 2022 season with 11 touchdowns compared to six interceptions. He has a stud receiver in Xavier Hutchinson, however, he's having a tough time finding him on deeper routes. Iowa State will play a hot Kansas State squad next week.

Impact Dekkers was under pressure for most of the day while being sacked four times and forced in to two interceptions. The Cyclones' signal-caller does have multiple touchdowns in three of four games and remains a decent fantasy option most weeks. He should be in the line-up in what could be shoot-out against the undefeated Kansas Jayhawks next week.

While he did see some struggles at Iowa, he was still productive and led the team on a game-winning drive. The redshirt sophomore could have a bright future with the Cyclones and has them off to a fast 3-0 start this year. If he can put forth a productive outing against Baylor next week, he's worth a stash in most fantasy leagues.
