Impact Adeyi was a star for Sam Houston in 2021, but that was when it was still an FCS program. Last year, its first at the FBS level, he only played in eight games. As such, we are still waiting to see what Adeyi can do for the Bearkats when healthy.

The senior wide receiver was observed catching a deep pass from quarterback Hunter Watson during Wednesday's scrimmage, indicating the injury is behind him. Across three games last season, the 5-foot-10 pass-catcher tallied seven receptions for 74 yards.
