ImpactHowland paced the Hoosiers' rushing attack for the first time this season. The 6-foot-3 redshirt junior logged season highs in both rushing attempts and yards while also notching his first touchdown of the season. Howland started the season in an extremely limited role, but he's seen increasing usage over the last four games. Indiana's recent change at offensive coordinator has clearly improved this unit's efficiency this season, and it may lead to a bigger role for Howland down the stretch of the season as a result. It will be worth monitoring his workload compared to Josh Henderson and Jaylin Lucas during Indiana's penultimate game versus Michigan State next week.
