New faces for Louisville run Kentucky into the ground in 41-0 blowout
Freshmen Braxton Jennings and Shaun Boykins Jr., both ran for more than 100 yards, helping Louisville overcome significant injuries and still rout Kentucky 41-0 on Saturday

Out for Week 14
Brown (lower leg) is out for Saturday's game against Kentucky, Pete Thamel of ESPN reports.
Impact
Thamel announced that Louisville's team is without all four of its scholarship running backs, Brown being their top guy among them. Though not qualified to compete for the ACC Championship, the Cardinals are bowl eligible, meaning they can compete in one more game before their 2025 season officially comes to a close.

Questionable for Week 14
Brown (lower leg) is questionable for Saturday's game against Kentucky, Pete Nakos of On3.com reports.
Impact
Brown could be in danger of missing the final game of the regular season as he continues recovering from a lower leg injury that's held him out several weeks. The sophomore has totaled 91 carries for 782 yards and five touchdowns across eight appearances this year. His status will be determined closer to kickoff.

Out for Week 13
Brown (lower leg) is out for Saturday's game at SMU, Pete Nakos of On3 reports.
Impact
Brown will log his third consecutive DNP because of a leg injury that has kept him out since Week 11. He has one more regular-season opportunity, which will come in Week 14 with a Kentucky-Louisville game on Nov. 29. Brown will look to do something similar to what he did last year, when the annual Louisville-Kentucky game saw him log 26 rushing attempts for 178 yards and two touchdowns.

Remains out Friday
Brown (lower leg) did not appear on the teams injury report but will still not play in Friday's game versus Clemson, Matt McGavic of SI.com reports.
Impact
Brown was peculiarly left off the team's injury report on Wednesday, an odd situation considering the reported severity of his injury. It has since been clarified that he will still not suit up for the game, leaving Keyjuan Brown and Duke Watson to lead the Cardinals' backfield once again. Brown's next chance to suit up is next Saturday at SMU, the Tigers' second to last regular season game.

Absent from injury report
Brown (lower leg) isn't listed on Louisville's injury report ahead of a Friday night showdown with Clemson.
Impact
Brown was reportedly set to be out for "a while," but the tailback isn't listed on Louisville's initial injury report ahead of Clemson. It now appears possible that he will play versus the Tigers, which is surprising considering he was deemed out for a while just over a week ago. If Brown is indeed healthy, that'll be a huge boost for the Cardinals -- he's ran for 782 yards and five touchdowns this fall on 8.6 yards per carry.

Will be out a while
Brown (undisclosed) will be out for a while, Matt McGavic of Sports Illustrated reports.
Impact
McGavic's update suggests that Brown will log a multi-game absence, which was possible based on what became public earlier in November. Ideally for Louisville, he can return before the 2025 Cardinals cap off their regular season, especially considering how much they rely on him in their run game. Even with dipped stats this year, Brown still has 91 rushing attempts for 782 yards and five touchdowns in 2025.

May be sidelined 'a little while'
Brown (undisclosed) may be sidelined for "a little while," per head coach Jeff Brohm, Matt McGavic of SI.com reports.
Impact
Brown left Louisville's win over Virginia Tech with an injury and didn't return, leaving Keyjuan Brown to handle the carries for the Cardinals. It now appears to be a strong possibility the star tailback misses further time for Louisville. Brown ran for 130 yards on 16 carries before getting knocked out of the game.

Leaves game vs. Hokies with injury
Brown (undisclosed) was knocked out of Louisville's game against Virginia Tech and didn't return, per Damien Sordelett of The Roanoke Times.
Impact
Brown had 16 carries for 130 yards but was knocked out of the game in the fourth quarter on a 10-yard run that was negated due to a holding penalty. He was replaced by Keyjuan Brown, who figures to hold down the RB1 spot along with Duke Watson (undisclosed) if the superstar Brown is forced to miss any time. Louisville next hosts California on Saturday night in Week 11.

ROTOWIRE
Enormous output in win
Brown tallied 14 rushes for 205 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 38-24 victory over Boston College.
Impact
Brown took full advantage of the Cardinals' porous run defense, collecting the first 200-plus-yard rushing game of his career. It was great to see Brown build on his bounce-back game against Miami (FL) in Week 8, following that up with another excellent outing. The star tailback appears to have returned to form in recent weeks, and he should have an excellent chance to keep it going against a lowly Virginia Tech team in Week 10.

Finally hits 100 yards again
Brown had 15 rushes for 113 yards and gathered in all two targets for six yards during Friday's 24-21 victory against Miami (FL).
Impact
Brown had been largely stymied since Week 2 against James Madison, but he finally hit the 100-yard mark again as Louisville pulled off a big-time win against No. 2 Miami on the road. Brown's 15 carries were a season high, and he also had at least two receptions for the third straight week. After a rough stretch early in the season, the star tailback appears to be rounding back into form. Boston College in Week 9 presents an excellent chance for the halfback to run wild as well.

Modest outing in loss
Brown logged 13 carries for 66 yards and caught 2 of 6 targets for six yards during Saturday's 30-27 overtime loss to Virginia.
Impact
It was certainly better than last week, when he was held to 20 yards on 14 carries, but Brown was still largely bottled up in the loss to Virginia. He struggled to break explosive runs, usually the star tailback's speciality. Still, he saw the most carries by a wide margin and has a big opportunity to return to form on a national stage after a bye when the Cardinals take on Miami (FL).

Good to go
Brown (lower leg) will play Saturday against Virginia.
Impact
Brown has been banged up for the past few weeks, but the sophomore will ultimately suit up in Saturday's ACC matchup. After rushing for 1,173 yards as a freshman, Brown's rushed for 268 yards, averaging 8.1 yards per carry, with three touchdowns through four games this season.
