Still, there was a lot to like from the quarterback especially considering he's just a true freshman. Wilson should remain Rising's backup moving forward at least for the rest of this season.

Impact Wilson had no answers for the Arizona defense as he threw two interceptions in a single outing for the third time this season. Utah had previously been able to shrug off their inexperienced quarterback's mistakes, but not in this one as the team took their first loss of the year. The true freshman has been elevated into a tough spot as Cameron Rising remains out with a hand injury. Utah will have an extra week to determine what they will do when they play at Arizona State in Week 7.
