Out indefinitely Johnson (leg) will be out for an extended period of time, Brett Vito of the Denton Record-Chronicle reports.

Impact Johnson sustained a leg injury during UNT's 35-28 loss to Tulane on Oct. 21, and he will be sidelined for an extended period of time. The 5-foot-10 junior has handled 37 carries for 233 yards and three touchdowns, along with nine receptions for 36 yards across seven outings this season. It remains unclear when Johnson will be able to return, but he will be unable to suit up against Memphis this Saturday.

Catches TD Johnson only rushed for 11 yards on six carries against SMU, but he did have three catches for 32 yards and a score.

Impact Johnson has technically began the season with back-to-back games with a touchdown. However, a running back netting a mere 11 yards on six carries will never cause too much excitement. That goes double when he's the clear backup, which is definitely the case with the Mean Green.

Impact The freshman got a little taste of action in a blowout and he did a solid job with it. However, college veteran DeAndre Torrey had a huge game and really shouldered the load, and he should be the primary back this season. Johnson will provide a change of pace.
